“Rooms to Let” Sign

Folk art sign featuring classic “Rooms to Let” lettering inspired by the simple advertising once seen on hotel, boarding house, and general store porches throughout northern New England and the Adirondacks.

The panel is fashioned from an antique pine board sourced from an old crate. The sign is painted with traditional milk paint and shows overall crackle and authentic distressing. Three square nail holes along the center line suggest the mounting points that would have secured an original working sign.

Made in the spirit of early American sign making using traditional materials and finishes.
