I write as a way of thinking through making and teaching. Writing helps me notice what’s working, name what matters, and stay attentive to process rather than outcome. Much of what I write grows out of the classroom and the shop—questions that arise while teaching, observations made while working at the bench, and reflections on tradition as a living practice. The writing is informal and exploratory, meant to clarify rather than persuade.

Most of my writing is shared through a periodic newsletter, sent by email.
