Folk art trade sign celebrating the historic ice trade. An authentic pair of antique ice tongs is mounted to a box constructed from antique boards and fastened with reproduction cut nails. The wood shows the honest wear, surface character, and patina that come with age and use.

The sign is hand-painted in traditional milk paint and lightly distressed to complement the age and character of the materials.
