Leather Crossbody Bag Workshop

Create a handcrafted leather crossbody bag while learning the traditional skills and design principles that will allow you to make leather goods for years to come.

Over three days, you'll learn how to cut, punch, stitch, rivet, edge-finish, wet-form, and assemble vegetable-tanned leather using professional hand tools and techniques. Along the way, we'll discuss pattern making, material selection, hardware, and the design decisions that transform a simple project into a well-crafted object.

Rather than simply following a set of instructions, you'll gain an understanding of why each technique matters and how to apply these skills to future projects of your own. Whether you're interested in bags, journals, cases, or entirely original designs, you'll leave with both a finished crossbody bag and the confidence to continue exploring leatherwork independently.

No prior leatherworking experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome, while experienced makers will find plenty of opportunities to refine their techniques and customize their work.

All tools, materials, and hardware are provided.$250 will hold your deposit. The balance of $437 is due the first day of classes.

Small class size ensures plenty of individual instruction while creating an atmosphere where students learn from one another as well as from the instructor.
