(May 4-6) - Beginners Stained Glass

New York visiting artist Joseph Cavalieri will be teaching a 3 day beginners class at The Workshops of G.B. Davis. Student will learn how to cut and grind stained glass using the Tiffany technique of copper foiling and soldering to complete a multi-colored 8” square stained glass panel. Students will leave with a set of tools for continuing to work on your own after the class is done.

You will learn:

    • Design

    • Cutting Glass

    • Grinding Glass

    • Copper Foiling

    • Soldering

    • Hanging Finished Panel

    • Art Lectures in Class include Marketing for Artists and Art Residencies

Tools included for you to take home:

    • Pistol Grip Glass Cutter

    • Running Studio Pro Lightweight Running Pliers

    • (Joseph’s Favorite) Hakko FX-601 Soldering Iron

    • Studio Pro Iron Stand

You’ll have all the skills you need too continue to work independently at home or studio!

Class runs May 4 - 6, from 9:00 - 4:30 (With a generous lunch break)

All levels welcome! No experience necessary.

Class Limit 8 Students

Ages: motivated 18 year-old and older.

Deadline for registration is Wednesday April 23.
